Sweeney was a catcher back then, Schueler decided not to trade for him. He was offered to the Sox for a song.

August 14, 200322 yr Jeff Weaver is just horrid. Also I don't think the Yankees were ready for KC. We got ambushed by KC at the beginning of the season. Minnesota has sucked against KC all year. I think no one is really ready for KC until after they've played them. The good thing is I think the Sox have figured them out for the most part.
