One of the 1st times I have really questioned his judgement. At least bringing Peavy back in they were up 4 going into the bottom of 9. I just see no benefit to this considering our bullpen is extremely rested with 2 out of the last 3 games being CG. Makes zero sense.

Luckily Hughes didn't learn any bunting fundamentals with the Twins...maybe part of the reason he's no longer on Gardy's team.

And Ventura just completely blew this game for us. Absolutely got schooled by Melvin in this inning.

I can't help but have this feeling that Matt Thornton is going to end up ruining this game. Some way, some how, he will be blamed.
