Good job Lilli. Team player.

Getting a guy to 3rd really isn't that useful when there are already 2 outs.

32 straight games for Dunn with a K.

Would have been a great swing on a hit-and-run. On a non-2 strike count, it was too defensive of a swing.

Does Dunn's .350 average with RISP lead the team?

Dunn record continues.

Still it's better than a ground ball to the left side or a K or pop out. At least another wild pitch or passed ball can score him.

Got to hand it to Porcello, that ball running away from the lefty bat has got to be pretty tough on Dunn. The second strike was his best chance to hit it and even that pitch was fairly well located.

How come when guys try to go to right you call it a defensive swing ?

Alexei's at .364....oh wait, that's his OPS with RISP

Nice play by De Aza.

You can go to right with authority, but Lilli didn't even finish off his swing

atta boy de Aza!

It would be interesting if the Sox and Tigers could switch home parks for the year. We're built for theirs, they're built for ours.

I know I say it often with Morel, and that's cause sometimes it seems he's just trying not to strike out (and that's before he gets two strikes). Lillibridge seemed determined to try and hit the ball to right on that swing, which is nearly impossible to do if Porcello is pitching you in like he did.

Don't really need to finish your swing if your stroke is short for a reason.

Prince Fielder is the one hope that Viciedo can be successful

Italics denote lack of caring.

Bold denotes, Have I?

Ugh, can't throw him a 2-2 low fastball like that. Axelrod has absolutely no margin for error.

pretty sure you caused an entire thread to be shut down so it could get "cleaned up"

HR balls are Sox nemesis.

Just keep pitching Dylan...this is why you didn't let them have any cheap baserunners before Prince came up

Avila is a pesky sum b****
