I'd have Jones or Thornton start the 7th, as Peavy's well above 100 pitches

I agree. There's no real reason to leave him in.

First guy that reaches base he is out.

Visquel saved Jays a run.

The ball that Dunn hit? Looked like a sure single?

Be very careful with Peavy this inning, RV.

He's already at 109 pitches. You'd almost rather turn it over to the bullpen, but he can perhaps quickly go 1-2-3 and give the offense a chance to get him the W.

God damn it Dayan, hit a damn fastball

Dreading a Thornton appearance with runners on base...

Robin does know it's June, correct?

Wow, that's been a strike the whole freaking night.

Bad managing there

Good job Jake

Ump called that pitch on Sox hitters.

And there we have the dreaded leadoff walk.

SIGH.

how was that not a called 3rd strike?

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 8, 2012 -> 02:04 AM)
Ump called that pitch on Sox hitters.

2-2 and 3-2 pitch have been strikes.

Pitch has been called all night...seriously.

Pitches 6 and 8 in that sequence both got a good part of the plate but called balls.

So...one batter for Thornton? He's not really gonna be facing Bautista right?

No one is up in the pen

he gawn

This is the shortest I've swing Rasmus' swing in a long time. Thornton made a great pitch to ace him though.

big AB vs bautista

So Bautista loves inside fastballs, and that's Thornton's best pitch. Should be interesting

This ump is lost.
