Because it requires two views that have to be synced up on the fly. If the umpire does his job, that's an easy call for him.

It's the 21st century. They just did it on the replay. Not too hard to pull that off.

Someone needs to tell Flowers that when Escobar and the pitcher bat after you, you should be trying to hit a homer instead of taking numerous pitches.

I'd like to see Jones/Crain/Reed right now for 7-8-9

Replay could be implemented for just about any call if Selig had half a brain. Have a command center like the NHL (make it be Milwaukee to make Selig happy) and just get it over with.

I didn't see any timestamps. How do you know the two views were synced? Something like being a millisecond off could make a difference in this situation. Just because they show you two views does not prove they were synced accurately. No syncing with the human eye.

That was still a s***ty call.

It was, but the first strike in that AB was perfect for him to crush.

The Feathered has only thrown 60 pitches. Why the hell would you pull him?

I'd give Q another inning or 3, his pitch counts still under 70 right?

It's the 3rd time through and they were starting to get hits. Maybe leave him for the 7th but they better PH for him

Because that's how trucks are able to roll their tape. Again, amazing what technology can do.

And they almost tied the game last inning.

One of which was a 3rd career bunt single and another was a split second from being an out.

Are you seriously this dense?

Well it's 1-0...wtf are you watching?

Jose Quintana is an absolute monster. Mowing down the Dodgers

This is as efficient of a game you will ever see by an SP.

With Zach Stewart starting tomorrow, I'm fine trying to get through today without trying to use the pen.

69 pitches through 7 for Quintana. Wow. What a gem from him today.

Quintana ERA down to 1.59

This is the pitching gem we thought we were going to get on Friday. Baseball is funny sometimes.

how is it 1-0? farmer said they tied it up, am I in the bizarro world?
