Invisible bats so far today. Lots of misses on that hanging slider.

Maybe we're tired from running the bases for 3 hours last night.

Streaky offense is very streaky.

Flowers makes contact. Progress.

Seariously, D-bleeping-Wise?

Greg is elated.

How is Wise killing us? 2 RBI today, HR and 2B. When that was hit, I thought it was Cano. Jeeeeesus.

Well, at least next team Peavy faces doesn't have a lot of lefties.

This has been a very boring game. 0 2 0 through 5.

YAAAAWN

That ought to get Peavy a warning.

Wise could not play dead offensively with the Sox.

Hitting Jeter was the best thing Peavy has done all day.

He wasn't bad in 2008, and then pressed too much as leadoff hitter in 2009 and never recovered

Congratulations Youk!

Get your ass pad on, Konerko

I don't think it's as bad as you think. The way it moves on screen is not necessarily indicative of how deceptive it is. I am guessing it's a pretty damn good pitch since we aren't seeing the spin on it all and many of the guys missing it are good breaking ball hitters. There is a point where too much break on a slider hurts the effectiveness since it differentiates itself from the fastball too much.

Well, Hawk and Stone are saying they have no idea how the hitters are missing it either.

Let's get on the board

I wonder how Rowand is doing in the radio booth. I'd tune in but live downtown and the reception is zero.

Best chance for a big inning, IMO
