They really have to consider demoting him. At this point, it's doing no one any good by having him failing so much in the majors.

He is a good defensive catcher and rarely plays. There is no reason to demote him. He should be playing only against lefties but he seems to be peavy's personal catcher.

 

At least Flowers has a good arm.

Some veteran backup C is bound to be released in the next few weeks when a non-contender calls up a youngster, I would think. I suppose I prefer waiting, if Phegley is the next option.
