August 16, 200322 yr Something amazing -- the Sox still have the best record in the majors since the ASB, at 18-9. Considering we've lost 4 of our last 5, I was shocked to read that. Hopefully we can win today, and if we do, we'll just be 1 game out. When you look at how we've played lately, possibly being just 1 game out is pretty incredible.
August 16, 200322 yr Hows this pitcher were facing, I saw he had a 1-1 record but didn't look at any other stats of his. Not going to make any predictions, thats for our buddy southsider to do. If we go through the first inning without giving up a run, or commiting a error then we have a good chance of keeping ourselves in the game.
August 16, 200322 yr I forget who is pitching today, but when I heard yesterday, I didn't think that we'd faced him before. Tomorrow's starter, Juan Dominguez, I'm pretty sure we haven't seen him before.

August 16, 200322 yr Are we gonna break out of our funk? Interesting that JM blasted Frank in the press for his new philosophy toward hitting. Frank is a star, but a weird man. Why does he only want to pull the ball now? The guy has the power to hit homers in the first or second row to rf. Even if he was thinking that, he should never have expressed his desire to pull the ball and hit hrs to the media. The Royals are sucking. The Twins are coming. Trouble.

August 16, 200322 yr Tinkerbell is trying Everett in the third spot and Daubach at DH.......... What ever happened to Frank playing 1B? I agree he needs a rest, but his ass better be playing tomorrow.
August 16, 200322 yr Daubach needs to do something tonight. Something productive I mean. Why is he batting 5th. For the love of God, JM blasts Thomas in the papers then benches him and puts this dope 5th.

Can we chalk this up as yet another reason to fire this asshole? It's starting to get quite ridiculous..... IMHO.
August 17, 200322 yr Fearless prediction: The White Sox will not shutout their opposition; however, they will score just enough runs to eke out a win.
August 17, 200322 yr I hope your right Heather, cause if your not your post will be quoted with a :fyou
