Oakland A's @ Chicago White Sox

I didn't see Humber pitch, but it seems like he did a hell of a job to keep the A's at 6.

Outside of his first 2 outings(I wanna say) Jesse has been fantastic since coming back.

Verlander has allowed 6 hits through 3 IP so far. Thrown 65 pitches. Hopefully he won't make it to the 7th, even if it's still a 1-1 game.

If we could gain a game on the Tigers w/Verlander on the mound & Sale going for us tomorrow I would be ecstatic!!!

Got our own business to handle though :headbang

Starting to feel like 2005 again with that huge break.

DeAza pretty much misplayed that and then got bailed out by a freak bounce.

Where u been caufield? You take a week off posting?

He was definitely the good Humber. Had some pop on his fastball and it wasn't straight.

Fantastic AB by Youk. Draw a walk here Dunn

Kinda ironic that Lillibridge and Flowers both with easily their best games of the season today.

Man on base. Would be very nice to score. Nice hit, Youk.

Atta boy Youk!!!

Righties are hitting .092 against Crain......That's dirty.

Not that great. He's an average reliever who is quite hittable.

These 2 posts seem to conflict with each other.

Youkmeister.

I'd say it's more coincidental, than ironic.

Dunn just draw a BB

Is Youk the greatest human to ever live?

How is that ironic? It's coincidental, not ironic.

Bad at bat for Dunn...taking strikes, swinging at balls

That 2-1 pitch to Adam looked low. He swing. Whiffs on 2-2 pitch.

Ironic and Literally. Two of some of most incorrectly used words I've ever heard. "Literally" seems to have exploded over the past couple years though, and almost never used correctly.

67 strikeouts in 137 ABs vs LHP, .181 average for Dunn

That's literally crazy

I wonder if Youk, like Peavy, gets mad when taken out of games. We prolly could use a pinch runner and stolen base.

Ah, keep him in the game. We might need him in extra innings or in the ninth or something.

Good god, it's a game thread, who gives a f***?

How many homers though? I saw him hit one in KC vs. Chen.

Cook's blown 7 saves? Jesus.

It's the 7th inning, you're not taking him out.
