Rios would easily have 10 more RBI's if Dunn and Konerko didn't have to be held at third. Ramirez RBI total has been the beneficiary of that.

I'm not going to argue with a guy who thinks RBI's are an important stat. If you can't see that Alexei's bat is busted then I don't know man.

I'm happy getting 71 RBIs (so far) from my gold-glove caliber shortstop. I don't know how you could see his season as disastrous.

 

He's been the best clutch hitter all year. Someone needs to take over for him.

You know why we look at stats, right? It's to predict the amount of runs a player will contribute. Look, he scores runs and drives runs in. You might not like that he's been excellent with RISP because that's "lucky" but it is what it is. He's been a remarkably productive SS that adds huge value defensively as well.
