Welp, I have 2012 recorded on my DVR and with their only being 4 hours amd 15 minutes left in 2012 I might as well watch it.

January 1, 201313 yr My wife and I saw This Is 40 (which was OK, but pretty depressing for a comedy) and then went to the Wild Monk in LaGrange for dinner and drinks with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Had a very nice time and some very good food. Can't complain at all about the entire night.
January 1, 201313 yr Author Gathered downtown at midnight for our street festival. It was 27 degrees in Chicago, 72 degrees here. Ah, life is wonderful.
January 2, 201313 yr I had my usual NYE celebration. Wife was at work, I was playing my PS3 in the living room and the kids were playing on the computer. I paused my game long enough to watch the ball drop, texted my wife and then went back to playing my game. I have the same plans for next year.
January 2, 201313 yr Went to a bar with friends, the Barn or something like that in Lincoln Park. It was one of those all you can drink deals, and for the price I paid I was pretty happy with it (top shelf was included). Left at 1am though, definitely starting to get older
