June 11, 201312 yr QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 11, 2013 -> 04:59 PM) The reviews I have seen have been pretty mixed but I think everything Snyder has directed has been no fun and boring (except for the Dawn of the Dead remake) including 300 so no surprise to me. Good point.

June 12, 201312 yr MAN OF STEEL is pretty much the best Superhero Movie ever made and I'm not gonna argue!
June 12, 201312 yr This Is The End is funny but goes on a little long. Seems to be a trend that comedies are going 2 hours now.
June 13, 201312 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 12, 2013 -> 05:36 PM) This Is The End is funny but goes on a little long. Seems to be a trend that comedies are going 2 hours now. I thought it was an hour and forty minutes?
June 13, 201312 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 11, 2013 -> 03:34 PM) Ok, apparently Man of Steel predictably sucks. RT meter under 60% now and going down with every new review.
June 13, 201312 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 13, 2013 -> 08:59 AM) I thought it was an hour and forty minutes? 2 hours even
June 13, 201312 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 13, 2013 -> 11:03 AM) 2 hours even IMDB says 107 minutes. That's an hour and 47 minutes.
June 13, 201312 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 12, 2013 -> 03:36 PM) This Is The End is funny but goes on a little long. Agreed
June 13, 201312 yr I feel like the episode of South Park where every movie trailer I see looks like people s***ting out their mouths and saying "f*** you!"
June 13, 201312 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 13, 2013 -> 11:03 AM) 2 hours even QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 13, 2013 -> 11:36 AM) IMDB says 107 minutes. That's an hour and 47 minutes. Maybe the end of the world occurs at 1:47, and the next 13 minutes are just a black screen.
June 13, 201312 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 13, 2013 -> 11:36 AM) IMDB says 107 minutes. That's an hour and 47 minutes. Flixter says 1:59 and it timed out close to that on my watch

Segmenting/partitioning the market. http://movies.yahoo.com/news/paramount-off...-055759217.html I would welcome that and really that's the way my wife and I watch movies now. When we go to the theater it's rare and generally it's for IMAX movies only ($20 a ticket or whatever it is these days) to see the big action movies. Occasionally we'll go to the local theater which has movies that have been out for a few weeks and it's only $5.50 a person. Otherwise we rent.

Segmenting/partitioning the market. http://movies.yahoo.com/news/paramount-off...-055759217.html My favorite part about the first article is George Lucas's beard chin. Without the beard, he'd look like Jabba the Hut.
June 14, 201312 yr I found it interesting that Speilberg admitted that Lincoln almost was an HBO movie
