The reviews I have seen have been pretty mixed but I think everything Snyder has directed has been no fun and boring (except for the Dawn of the Dead remake) including 300 so no surprise to me.

Good point.

Ding!

This Is The End is funny but goes on a little long. Seems to be a trend that comedies are going 2 hours now.

I thought it was an hour and forty minutes?

Ok, apparently Man of Steel predictably sucks.

RT meter under 60% now and going down with every new review.

2 hours even

2 hours even

IMDB says 107 minutes. That's an hour and 47 minutes.

Agreed

I feel like the episode of South Park where every movie trailer I see looks like people s***ting out their mouths and saying "f*** you!"

Maybe the end of the world occurs at 1:47, and the next 13 minutes are just a black screen.

Flixter says 1:59 and it timed out close to that on my watch

Spielberg/Lucas predict film industry headed for a meltdown, as well as $20-something comic book/CGI/3D movie ticket prices and $7 Lincoln/Hurt Locker/Zero Dark Thirty charges. Segmenting/partitioning the market.

I would welcome that and really that's the way my wife and I watch movies now. When we go to the theater it's rare and generally it's for IMAX movies only ($20 a ticket or whatever it is these days) to see the big action movies. Occasionally we'll go to the local theater which has movies that have been out for a few weeks and it's only $5.50 a person. Otherwise we rent.

Very excited about going to see Man of Steel tonight.

My favorite part about the first article is George Lucas's beard chin. Without the beard, he'd look like Jabba the Hut.

I found it interesting that Speilberg admitted that Lincoln almost was an HBO movie

Originally it was 6-7 episode mini series

I really like Neil Blomkamp, I think Elysium is gonna be a good movie

Looks good. I doubt itll change my life, but likely keep me entertained for a 1.5 hours.

Silly. Movies are never 1.5 hours any more.

Tree of Life didn't do it?

Man of Steel review anyone? I skipped on the midnight premiere after reading all these bad reviews, now my friend claims it's a great movie.
