Your Sporting Weekend

Featured Replies

A quiet sporting weekend for me. Going to a Dublin Gaelic football match on Sunday, but that's about it.

What sporting events will you be attending or making a point to watch this weekend?

NFL Playoffs

I'll be going to the Niners game tomorrow

The stein holding contest at Hofbrau House, drunken karaoke singing at Dino's, wild stripper dancing at the Spearmint Rhino, and beer pong at Commonwealth!

Oh, and the NFL playoffs.

High school basketball, and watching some hoops and football.

Niners/Packers should be quite the battle. Go Pack Go

Yep, NFL Playoffs.

College basketball is the obvious choice here. Minnesota at IU, Illinois at Wiconsin, and Michigan Ohio State. 3 big B1G games alone.

Football, Football, Football, Football. Maybe a little UI @ WI hoops, but Football, Football!

ND-UCONN Men's Bball tomorrow.

Best football weekend of the year is living up to the hype today. Hope Sunday's games are just as good.

Went to the Clippers game this afternoon...watching the Bulls game on DVR during commercials of Packers game while getting Amazon Prime installed on my TV/PS3.

ND-UCONN Men's Bball tomorrow.

No more ND home games for you!

I watched it on TV. Yeah... Not good.

Fairly uneventful weekend for me in terms of sport. Action for both Celtic and the Dublin Gaelic footballers, but preparation for the upcoming baby arrival vetoed any attendance plans.

Celtic won 4-1 earlier today, Dublin in action tomorrow.

I'm hoping to do a charity cycle in the summer, so I'll be out on the bike first thing tomorrow morning. That's about it really.

What's on your radar?

NFL Conference Championship games are tomorrow, so most here will probably be tuning into those in varying states of inebriation. The girlfriend and I are going to be cooking up some jambalaya, along with some red sangria and some kind of "fruit pizza" she is making. Thanks to the fabulous Martin Luther King, Jr. , we are also off Monday, so tomorrow should be a great day to eat, drink and be merry.
