White Sox @ Tribe 4/13 GAME THREAD

Might as well have had Flowers bunt there, lol.

What the heck is DeAza doing? NO MORE BUNTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's the only one hitting decently (3/7) with RISP, along with Paulie. The team is at .145 as a whole.

That bunt was an inch away from being a hit. I can live with that one.

That was a rough AB for De Aza, nearly perfect bunt, raked a ball foul, then fooled completely on that last pitch.

Here's a question...if Flowers totally flops this year, how do the Sox acquire a catcher for next season? It would seem trading for someone would have to be the way to go.

Trading Ramirez, Thornton, Crain, Floyd...although not sure any of those options get it done.

Maybe add in a bullpen arm and one of our surplus minor league outfielders.

Went back and looked at the pitch selection in the 1st inning...why are you throwing a 3-2 change-up with 2 outs and no one one to their worst hitter in Raburn?

10 for 68, that is a .147 clip, and fallllllllllllllllllllllllling

10/68 isn't bad right??!?!?!?

The point is, DeAza came into that at-bat as our best hitter with RISP.

When you bunt and pass the buck to the next hitter, it doesn't send a good message to the rest of the line-up...even if it does happen to work, it puts pressure on Keppinger when he's been struggling out of the gate.

Well the offense picked up right where it left off late last September.

I just caught the last second of the call...but either Rios or Dunn is 0/7 with RISP.

I guess 0/8 now with the error?

That wasn't a sacrifice attempt, that was a bunt for a hit.

If Ramirez had tried to bunt for a hit last night, I coulda lived with it.

With each passing game I'm more thankful for not renewing mlb.tv. This team is not fun to watch.

Sale 87 mph, then 89 mph. Funky motion or not he needs to be 92-94 to get enough differential in his slider and change.

Why is Sale's velocity down so much, its start #3 of the season...

Who is in your avatar? Kind of looks like Olivia Wilde in the face, but no way her boobs are that big.

Correct. Rios is 0/8 with RISP with 3 RBI's.

Sale on an extra day rest, and barely reaching 91. Oh boy...

That last fastball at 86....

Well, I guess they'll just make him a closer for a week again :)

Whatever the plan was in Spring Training, it doesn't seem like our starters built up enough arm strength.

I guess our new pitching strategy is to see if we can get all of the starters at 100 pitches by the 5th inning.

Mother of god, how have I never noticed those things? I've been all about her since her Black Donnelly days. Ooof.

He has Dylan Axelrod type junk today...unbelievable, 11 games into the season.

Dunn is as athletic as a 2x4
