I've never seen a draft with this many questions leading into draft day. There is a lot of talent in this draft but I don't know how many pro bowlers are in it. There are so many smoke screens too - it's unreal.

 

I like the Jets and Bills little quarrel too.

I'm hoping Austin gets to 8 and the Bills trade down with the Rams and pick up 16 and 22. Then you can take Nassib/Manuel at 16 (because I am already calling the Jets bluff - there's no way they can afford to use a top 13 pick on a QB) and either trade down with Atlanta at 22 or take BPA, probably a receiver.

I can't imagine what the Boers and Bernstein show would be like tomorrow if the Bears take Te'o tonight. I really, really hope they don't take him.

This is the main reason I hope they don't take him. It's not a good reason I know, but still.

 

I'd be ok with using a 2nd on him though. To me he's got a high floor, unlikely to be a bust. Yes he played like s*** against Alabama but so did Ogletree (granted better than Te'o but still)

I don't think they like Smith at all. I think their top 3 are Nassib, Barkley, and Manuel. I think Smith has the highest ceiling out of any QB in the draft, but he's got the second lowest floor too (next to Manuel), and I don't think he'd handle playing in Buffalo very well.

According to ESPN's John Clayton, the Vikings "would like to find a way" to take Notre Dame ILB Manti Te'o in first round.

 

Middle linebacker is a glaring position of need for the Vikings, where they're trying to cram in weak-side 'backer Erin Henderson. However, it's possible Te'o won't be around when the Vikings pick at No. 23 overall. According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Bears -- who hold the No. 20 pick -- also "love" Te'o. The Vikes are a candidate to trade up on Thursday night.

I'll trust Kiper and McShay's opinion of his ability to play MLB over yours, and those two certainly don't give a f*** about his name.

I am praying that either Sheldon Richardson or Star Lotulelei somehow fall to 20. They would be great adds to the Bears.

 

Otherwise, I would prefer a trade down and pick up a third rounder and take either A. Brown/Minter/other LB that falls to around 30 where the Bears trade down to.

 

Can't see Lotulelei falling that far and I'm hearing SF is trying to trade up into top 15 to grab Richardson

No, not even close. I dont hate the guy, but I dont think he is worth the 20th pick. I was extremely disappointed in his game against alabama and I thought a lot of his image was hype over substance. Dont interpret that as me hating ND, because I dont.

Te'o will get swallowed up in the NFL just like he did in Alabama game. He is a average player at best not a first rounder at all. I could care less he is from the Tarnished Dome.

Yep, he played behind a dominant defensive line. The one game the DL couldn't control the LOS, he was destroyed by Lacy and company.

It's a weaker draft for sure and if KC gets Miami's first 2nd round pick I'd love to take him there if he was still around, but I wouldn't take an above average inside linebacker whose ceiling is that of a poor man's Luke Kuechly in the first round.

There is no college linebacker that would of had a good game.

 

That Alabama o-line will have three players starting in the NFL this year and one more will be starting next year.

I read somewhere that Te'o was the first really good college player to have a bad game.

 

Not to mention he knew he was about to get demolished in the news any day. That might distract you, just a bit.
