April 17, 201313 yr Christopher Kamka @ckamka 8h #WhiteSox are 4-14 (.286) with RISP over last two games #Progress
April 17, 201313 yr I love it when 4-14 is progress. Let's get back to top 5 in the league now, or whatever we were last year.
April 17, 201313 yr "improving with RISP" is so vague. Over the course of the year, it's telling me at least what happened. But at this point...I mean, does it mean we're becoming less HR reliant? that we're legitimately better as hitters? Or that we just had our luck happen to happen with some guys on base? I just only care that we're getting better offensively. If they want to do that via (1) longterm addition of Gillaspie against righties (2) ending Dunn's 2013 'experiments' (3) making a trade --- then I'm interested. And if Paulie is fully back to being Paulie, I'm very interested. Otherwise, I only want to hear early that we're improving...not that we're 'improving in the clutch.' That tells me nothing that I can take to the next at-bat.
April 17, 201313 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 17, 2013 -> 05:22 PM) When you're at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, the only place you can go is up. Technically the bottom of the grand canyon is still at an elevation of about 2000 feet. You can still go a long way down from there.

When you're at the bottom of the Marianas Trench, you have no where to go but up (or in the belly of Cthulhu)
April 18, 201313 yr Way too early for the stats to mean anything, that said, nice that the Sox finally had an easy win. Oh and did I mention, I really like Q.

April 18, 201313 yr Up to 17 for 94, on the season...my running commentary is usually in the game threads, but yeah!
