Sox improving with RISP

"improving with RISP" is so vague.

Over the course of the year, it's telling me at least what happened. But at this point...I mean, does it mean we're becoming less HR reliant? that we're legitimately better as hitters? Or that we just had our luck happen to happen with some guys on base?

I just only care that we're getting better offensively. If they want to do that via (1) longterm addition of Gillaspie against righties (2) ending Dunn's 2013 'experiments' (3) making a trade --- then I'm interested. And if Paulie is fully back to being Paulie, I'm very interested.

Otherwise, I only want to hear early that we're improving...not that we're 'improving in the clutch.' That tells me nothing that I can take to the next at-bat.

When you're at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, the only place you can go is up.

Technically the bottom of the grand canyon is still at an elevation of about 2000 feet. You can still go a long way down from there.

When you're at the bottom of the Marianas Trench, you have no where to go but up (or in the belly of Cthulhu)
