No Game - from April

Featured Replies

Called because of cold and wind.

Surprised...a little.

Tonight’s game between the @WhiteSox and @Twins has been postponed due to a forecast of cold and windy conditions at U.S. Cellular Field.

Tonight’s postponement is the 6th in the history of U.S. Cellular Field due to cold temperatures.

Fans should keep any game tickets and parking coupons for tonight’s postponed game until a makeup date is determined.

A makeup date and time will be announced at a later date.

Surprised as well, had tickets to the game. Can I go exchange them for tickets to tomorrows game?

The f***?

When was the last time that happened?

gonna be just as cold tomorrow. p*****s.

If the Sox went 9-1 on that trip, do they do this?

I was just outside in the Loop. There were flurries and a howling wind. Good decision.

Last time this happened was April 10, 2008.

Yes.

If it's October, no.

I have no problem with the decision, especially against a division team that can be made up easier.

Still, it's a good time for a day off.

This mostly has to be because of wind right? Cause it was at least as cold in Cleveland for a few of those games.

People that say the Sox/Twins game got cancelled instead of postponed need to be educated on the difference...and possibly be punched in the throat.

I'm pretty sure it's 40 degrees with a chance for depression everyday in Cleveland.

CNN just announced that the White Sox-Twins game will be played as scheduled.

Well played

What? For cold? Are we in Texas or something?

Would you have gone to the game tonight if you had tickets?

Who's that dick wearing red?

Smart move. They will sell more tickets to the makeup date than they would have tonight.

This April weather sucks my dick.

If I had to make an educated guess, it'll be a day/night doubleheader on Friday, August 9th.

The Twins have already lost an off day in August with the Mets coming back to Minnesota.
