Chris Sale?

Featured Replies

Earlier today I was watching ESPN and they did a segment on the top 5 pitchers under the age of 25 in the league. They put up 10 options, and manny acta chose the top 5. Chris Sale wasn't even an option!! How and the hell does he get left off the top 10?

They just did National League.

alright, that makes much more sense. i came into it after it had started.

No bias but watching the kid pitch wow. My top 5: Verlander, Kershaw, Price (when healthy), Sale, Cain

Yes I would take sale/cain over strasburg.

I think I would replace Cain with Harvey

All ten options were from the NL, but they did keep saying tops in baseball. I was confused.

MLB network highlighted the best young pitchers 24 or under this year doing well. I think the list was Harvey, Sale, Bumgardner, and Moore. I could be mistaken though, but I'm 100% sure Sale was on that list.

He's back to having an ERA below 1 for the last month.

Felix or Cain?

Either way, I love the King.

Felix. He had like 1 or 2 bad outings earlier in the year, but now his ERA since April 15 is like 0.70 or something ridiculous like that.

Cain isn't right at all right now.

yeah. I've got Felix in a fantasy league, and he has been absolutely lights out over the last 6 weeks. He's carried my staff.

1.53 ERA on the year i think. pretty damn good right now.

jinx!

Hernandez is really learning how to pitch now.

He isn't trying to strike everyone out or throwing in the mid to upper 90's...whether it's from wear and tear or simply letting up a little on the gas and only going with maximum effort fastballs when needed in key situations.

Felix was one of those pitcher profiled earlier in the season whose velocity was down quite a bit from previous seasons.
