FYI: Maybe too late for this case but saw my cousin at the Sox game Saturday and he has been suing quite a few landlords recently, so if anybody needs further help with this, let me know.

Let me know what your cousin's name is, so I can be sure to never rent to him.

I'm all over the slam....A friend told me that Indiana now allows felonies to be expunged. I have quite the petty felony on my record from 6 years ago....What is that process like? Before calling a lawyer I figure I'd try to get some knowledge on the subject here

Sounds like its a clusterf*** at the moment:

Id probably just pay for an attorney if there isnt a set of forms/guide available on the internet. In Illinois its not that bad, most people do it on their own, but that Indiana article seems to suggest if you mess it up you lose your chance.

That's what it seems like...I called a guy already and he told me to find out what class the felony is. I know I talked about it on here so I'm trying to find the post(s) to see whether I included the class, which I think I did.

For what I did I think it'd be a low class.

EDIT- Mods what would be the best way to find said posts? I've tried googling "soxtalk scs787 assisting a criminal" and the same with my previous handle "2nd_city_saint787"

Put site:soxtalk.com in the beginning of your search, then put your key words in.

Thanks, it doesn't appear as though I brought up the class of the felony like I thought. Looks like I've gotta hit up the court house and get another final disposition.

This happened in Indiana, right? Go to this page, for the "search by" box select "defendant" and then enter your name. Your case should come up, and it should tell you what class it was.

Thanks for the help but for whatever reason Lake County isn't an option under select a location.
