"You go to Vegas, you go to a block party!" Brutal.

UNLV is incredibly athletic

UNLV is incredibly athletic

Bertrand says he is too. Wow

"You know there are no clocks in casinos. Flavor Flav probably has the only one in the entire casino."

Below fifty percent from the ft line, last in the country. Of course they are 9-9 against us.

First road game of the year against a semi-decent team. Didn't have the highest expectations for this game, but maybe they can steal it in the 2nd half. Like what I see from Rice so far, maybe he can be OK during Big Ten play, the anti-Trent Meachem.

Rice is in beast mode. Hilarious since Gottlieb bashed him early on.

Jaylon Tate I love you

Three straight plays where Tate assists Egwu and all the sudden Illini lead.

I love how since the touch out of bounds plays are revieweable, it ends up screwing us.

Awesome job. UNLV trash talking the whole game and Gottlieb thinking Rice can't compete at a high level make this memorable.

f***IN HUGE. WHAT A WELL COACHED GAME BY GROCE.

Great win for the Illini! Indiana also with another good win against a scorching Evansville team.

When I watch UNLV play, I wonder WTF Goodluck Okonoboh and Dwayne Morgan are thinking turning down IU/OSU/ other big programs to go play for Dave Rice...

I usually roll my eyes at fans who complain that they think announcers are bias, but last night Illinois fans had a gripe. They gave Illinois very little credit.

And I'm close to eating crow about Tate. While he is not an offensive threat, like I originally stated, his court vision is resulting in points and almost looks as good as Abrams right now.

I've never watched a game with an Illini fan who wasn't crying about how announcers were biased against them.

You didn't watch last night, so whatever. You also just had an unbiased fan spell it out for you.

Try to keep your students from being ejected again.

Dude you are so biased against Illinois fans, why don't you just give them some dap?

Isn't CBS Sports the primary broadcaster of Mountain West games?

I wasn't as bothered by the bias as I was the pure awfulness of the announcers. Cringe-worthy at times.

Yeah. No one was claiming bias. They were just terrible announcers.

Huge win, that's a tough first road game for a young team. It feels great having a coach that prepares well for end of game situations and can adjust well at halftime.

Hey Brian, Kyyle, we lost another close game!!!!
