November 18, 201312 yr CBS Sunday Morning had a decent piece on the JFK assassination and how the media, including CBS, covered the investigation and conspiracies over time. They interviewed Stone and Buglosi and got their thoughts too. Stone is still convinced that it was an inside job done by the CIA. Buglosi is convinced the Warren Report was correct. Obviously it's not a review of all of the evidence in a 1500 page report, but I thought Buglosi's best argument was that we're 50 years into the future and no one has come out on their deathbeds or whatever admitting to it. Similar to the 9/11 conspiracy, it's impossible for that many people involved to keep quiet. I could just never get into all the JFK stuff. I'm too young I think. I just don't care enough, even if it is a major historical event. Also, for the record, I think Jackie O was very unattractive, even in her "prime." Edited November 18, 201312 yr by Jenksismybitch
November 18, 201312 yr Author Actually at least one mob guy, he was serving time in Joliet, has "confessed". His confession was debunked IIRC. The line that always makes sense to me is do you really believe the government could keep a secret this long?
November 18, 201312 yr Author ESPN is getting into the act as well. Their special is about the Dallas Cowboys and how they were afraid to play the following weeks. America hated all things Dallas. I understand the players drew straws to see who would run out first, some expected that one or more players would be killed.

November 19, 201312 yr Ok, so I didn't read the book, but I watched the movie adaptation. What the hell was the point? This is the same basic story that we have all been told. Did I miss something! I thought the movie focused quite a bit about how the FBI was on to Oswald but then got lazy and let him go. I also thought they had Oswald hearing another gunshot just a couple seconds after his own, as he was starting to flee, as if they were trying to say that there was a second gunman, but not connected to Oswald in any way.

Ah simpler times.

November 22, 201312 yr Author I was a little surprised the learn the "JFK Death Car" continued in service, with rebuilds and remodeling, through Carter. I now sits in the Henry Ford Museum in Michigan. I just assumed it was retired.
