January 31, 201412 yr QUOTE (ptatc @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:09 PM) The Iguchi play I remember was in the 2005 playoffs. The Iguchi play I remember was in 2006. Charged a grounder, layed out parallel to the ground, almost underhanded it to first. That one.
January 31, 201412 yr Author QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:30 PM) How do you forget Buehrle's perfect game? I didn't, it was one of the first on there. -Edit: In fact, the first one on there. Edited January 31, 201412 yr by Jose Abreu
January 31, 201412 yr Author QUOTE (Al Lopez's Ghost @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 09:30 PM) Thome's walk off 500th homer. Added
January 31, 201412 yr First proper year as a White Sox fan was 2012. The two moments that come to mind straight away for me where I went crazy (obviously I have had a lot less time than everyone else so they won't stand out was much) were Dunn's 3-run homer in the 8th against the Indians that kept the Sox one game up in late September: http://mlb.mlb.com/shared/video/embed/embe...ent_id=25061697 and Viciedo's 3-run homer in the 9th against the Yankees earlier that year: http://m.mlb.com/shared/video/embed/embed....opic_id=8878818 From 2013 there was obviously no moment as exciting as that, but I loved Chris Sale's 1 hit, no walk performance versus the Angels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvpTvxro3FA Edited January 31, 201412 yr by Feeky Magee

January 31, 201412 yr A lot of these are hardly forgotten. But I'll add B2B 300 career hrs by Konerko and Dye. Likely will never be done again.
January 31, 201412 yr Frank's return. Gordon's walk-off hit his rookie year. I think vs. the Cubs? Sox-Cubs brawl.
January 31, 201412 yr it was awesome when shingo retired 29 straight and 26 2/3 scoreless innings in 05?

Buehrle>Wood, yeah, many are not such as the PGs and 2008 playoffs. But I just remembered things like the B2B2B2B HRs and Buehrle's consecutive batters retired record.
January 31, 201412 yr Back-2-Back-2-Back-2-Back HR's by Thome, Konerko, Ramirez and Uribe in 2008. Probably one of the most fun games I've been to in a while.

January 31, 201412 yr That who stretch to get to the playoffs in 2008 was incredible. Thomes solo shot to beat the twins 1 0 in the playoff game. Ken freaken Griffey throwing a runner out at the plate. The blackouts.

January 31, 201412 yr QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jan 30, 2014 -> 10:01 PM) That was great. I remember Toby Hall trying so hard for the 5th one. Man, poor Toby. Would have been f***ing hilarious if it got around to the 9th person and they barely missed it.
