It is to some, apparently

There were two mentions of it, one tongue in cheek.

Really, its fine.

edit: sorry, three whole mentions. It remains, fine.

Back just in time for the Leury Loss. It's probably good for this board it was down in the 8th and 9th after that ridiculously dumb managing by Ventura.

Edited by fathom

The streak lives on!

I didn't care for the over managing in the 8th. I didn't stay up after the tenth. Leury Garcia eh?

15 walks is pathetic and unacceptable. Call up Guerra, Rienzo and whatever lefty you want and send 3 guys down. Let someone else give it a try. Make a point that if you don't thrown strikes you won't be throwing for the White Sox

I could see where at the end you can call it overmanaging, but if he didn't yank those guys after walks and they continued to pitch like they were pitching, it would have been considered dumb managing leaving them in. Ventura was screwed on White Sox message boards either way.

Leury was fun to watch pitch. He hit 88 and had a lot of movement.

The White Sox took so many first pitch strikes right down the plate last night. Thing is, I'm not sure I've ever seen them take more strikes in a game, only to swing at pitches out of the zone. It's a good thing Alexei and Dunn are great right now, as the rest of the offense seems to be slumping.

Danks wants Leury to teach him how to throw his sinker.

I also blame the OP for this loss. **bad omen**
