Another thing about Sizemore I read is he also is a shell of his former self defensively.

To be fair, a shell of his former self is still probably way better than De Aza's defense.

And if they wanted a defensive player to hit ~.200 they already have Danks in the minors.

Danks was hitting around .160 in the minors and when he was up here under .200 so no they don't already have that.

For all intents and purposes, Danks is a .200 hitting defensive minded outfielder. The comparison works just fine.

Seriously -- Jordan Danks ' ultimate ceiling is "serviceable stopgap." Let's not lose any more sleep over him, please.
