July 30, 201411 yr Sans the picture, no love for Bassitt here. 5 innings of 1 hit ball. Only hit given up was to some guy named Addison Russell. Strikes out weren't really there, and he walked 3, but still rather impressive for his first start coming off an injury. Edited July 30, 201411 yr by scs787
July 30, 201411 yr QUOTE (scs787 @ Jul 29, 2014 -> 11:03 AM) Kinda intrigued to see what Bassit brings. I was high on him last year. Did u smoke him , snort him or shoot him up ?
July 30, 201411 yr QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 30, 2014 -> 07:36 AM) Well done, sir. Thanks. I'd really like to see the Hound treated aggressively to make up for a little of the lost time. I still think he has the tools to be an effective long reliever/spot starter type, and possibly as early as June or so of next year. Prior to his still unknown "non-baseball injury" (something embarrassing perhaps?), I thought he might be a candidate for such a role right about now. Control is the occasional bugaboo, and I'd like to see him get with Coop ASAP. Edited July 30, 201411 yr by Stan Bahnsen
July 30, 201411 yr QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jul 30, 2014 -> 08:59 AM) Thanks. I'd really like to see the Hound treated aggressively to make up for a little of the lost time. Prior to his still unknown "non-baseball injury" (something embarrassing perhaps?), I thought he might be a candidate for such a role right about now. Control is the occasional bugaboo, and I'd like to see him get with Coop ASAP. He had a broken hand, but he told me it was "not baseball-related" and "minor". My instinct was, there may have been something embarrassing behind that, but he didn't want to get into it. And I didn't want to push it.
