December 6, 201411 yr QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Dec 5, 2014 -> 09:05 PM) http://throughthefencebaseball.com/craig-b...ring-mets/44648 Well the article said he wants to be in New York, but with that said, I would love to have him.
December 6, 201411 yr Author QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 5, 2014 -> 09:17 PM) Well the article said he wants to be in New York, but with that said, I would love to have him. Issue is now since miller is off the board he's probably going to get alot more attention. Tho if the sox get him it would hopefully strength the left side of the pen even more. Good thing is his cost might be a bit lower after last yr.
December 6, 201411 yr QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 6, 2014 -> 02:30 AM) I'd rather have Joe Thatcher. I'm with you. Also, let Surkamp battle for the last spot in the pen to potentially have 3 lefties
December 6, 201411 yr Breslow started 2014 on DL and then stunk for Red Sox. Red Sox turned him down for 4Mil. I would pass
December 6, 201411 yr On a 1 year, non-guaranteed contract, he'd be nice. He typically gets lefties out, if nothing else.
December 6, 201411 yr QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Dec 6, 2014 -> 07:09 AM) I'm with you. Also, let Surkamp battle for the last spot in the pen to potentially have 3 lefties If Robin truly treats Surkamp as the LOOGY that he is, then we don't need another lefty, imo, because ZD can be effective vs. both. Seems like Ozzie and now Robin are always trying to find out if a LOOGY can be something more than he's ever been, with bad results, though, admittedly, it can be dictated by the situation. Robin's ability to handle Surkamp properly will depend upon whether he trusts all five of the righties in the pen sufficiently, imo. I wouldn't mind having a third LHRP, but not this guy.
