If you could play for 3 teams...

Featured Replies

Play for:

1. Chicago White Sox

2. Detroit Tigers: play more games in the central division and visit Chicago/home more. I also actually like Detroit.

3. Kansas City Royals: play more games in the central division and visit home more.

Never play for:

1. Colorado Rockies: I cannot play for a team with such a religiously christian clubhouse. I'd be alienated when I decline to participate in group prayer, etc.

2. New York Yankees: I would not want to shave my facial hair. I hate being clean-shaven.

3. Texas Rangers: way too hot in that stadium.

So you drop by and let people know they are crazy and do not even post what teams you would and would not play for? Riiiiiiiight....

Play for

White Sox

Cardinals

Cubs

Not

blue jays

As

Rays

Miami, Boston and Seattle are great cities. Do you list them for other reasons?

I've been to Rogers Centre. It's not so bad. The Canadian people are the nicest kind you'll come across. The money exchange sucks though and you're right about the tough to make the playoffs thing.

St Louis is great... but the city is horrible. No thanks.

I don't like the climate in Miami or Seattle, and I just don't care for New England in general.

What factors would you look for in what team you play for? I already said money, money, and more money. But if things were close I would consider playing time, who the organization had in the minors, the manager, my future team mates, contender, stadium suits my game, year round living options, golf courses, but only if the money was good.

So I would probably be looking for teams in the south (sorry Sox).

How good are they at cultivating what I do. IE, do they have Don Cooper if I am a pitcher? How about Denver or Dallas if I am hitter?

Arlington.

I would play for:

White Sox - favourite team in favourite city.

Padres - warm city, kind of low key.

Toronto - big market but low key.

Wouldn't play for:

Tigers - hate them, and I loathe everything about the state of Michigan.

Yankees - too much pressure, plus clean cut? GTFO.

Red Sox - also too much pressure.
