Kane is absolutely a victim. How does being falsely accused of one of the worst things a human being can do by some gold digger not warrant being a victim? This girl set real rape victims back 30 years, not Patrick Kane. Apparently trying to frame a rich athlete with rape isnt as bad as "what Kane did to the Blackhawks organisation" by going out with friends with security/driver during the offseason...

 

If she were a gold digger, why wouldn't she continue to cooperate with the case? Her odds of making money with a civil suit drop significantly if the case against Kane is dropped.

 

For that matter, why hasn't there been more mention of a civil suit?

She was more than likely hoping for an out of court settlement. As time went on her story fell apart. First her friend refused to cooperate, second her mom made up the story about the rape kit bag showing up at her house and third her lawyer dropped her. If Kane was going to settle he would have quickly and she probably just finally gave up. If her story had any credibility she would still pursue it when a guy with the coin that Kane has is involved.

She may have felt sexually violated. I'm not sure. All I'm saying is, backlash against these kinds of accusers are generally frowned upon, because most cases like these (rape) go unreported.

That's epic, especially considering Tyler Seguin's pace is a strange one. He had a shorty yesterday and a hat trick the game before. He doesn't look like a scoring leader.

 

Kane is more impressive when you consider Seguin and Benn are the best scoring pair in hockey and therefore get assists like there's no tomorrow.
