but i and just thinking that if anything, bick will not be sent down. that is b/c of his contract.

Gone? He hasn't played that role (or any role) for 2 years now and he isn't gone. He can't go anywhere with his disgusting contract. He's a bad player who does nothing to benefit this team.

The NHL Central is just incredible. Hawks need to be a lot better because a good team will miss the playoffs this year.

According to the Buffalo News' sources, the "case is going nowhere," and there's an expectation that "the case will be administratively dismissed" without going in front of a grand jury. Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III said he's still waiting for the investigation to be completed though.

there is a fine line in regards to the evidence and the integrity of it.

 

but still, the supposed victim can pursue this in civil court. i really think and this is me who insist on hearing all evidence first when all this first started, i am going to go out on a limb and say they have no case.

 

now, does it mean anything for Kane to go after them in court..... Goliath going after David.

Kane has no good reason to chase after this in civil court unless this was completely made up, but I think there was at least minimal substance to it to get as far as it did. If Kane goes to court of any form, a whole lot of details will get made public, many I am sure he doesn't want out there. If Kane doesn't get charged, he walks away and let's this die.

What's the substance you speak of? I have yet to hear of any evidence.

I think Kane wants this to just go away. It's really bad press either way.

a great topic.... i have been waiting for someone to broach this topic. i too was very concerned for the same reasoning, but i have been looking at the prospects the hawks have waiting in the wings.

 

while loosing Keith is a huge blow, i like it b/c it give the next wave of dman playing time at the highest level and will give them an a idea of what they need to work on.

 

however Daley and Rundblad in the lineup ...... that is hurting me.

They had the same record last year. Looked how that turned out... although I will admit the lack of scoring is a bit worse this year and the fact they have more rookies. I doubt they'll miss the playoffs unless they pull a Kings and really not give a s*** in the regular season.
