Is that sarcasm because Jennings did fine in the 9th.

 

He gave up a soft single over Alexei's head, got a soft grounball double play, and a K.....

Sure why not? At the very least, minor league deal so you can have additional lefty in Septemeber when rosters expand.

caufield are you smoking? Jennings did not do poorly yesterday... a tired Samardzija gave up a bunch of hits.

Jennings has had one outing where he gave up 30% of the runs he has given up this year. For the most part he has been serviceable as the 6th or 7th man in the pen.

 

As Jones advances, there is a decent change we won't see Jennings anymore.

His WHIP is 1.50 and his FIP is 4.18. That's what's wrong with him.
