Agreed. Took a really good throw and a terrible slide by Cruz to get him. Sending him was the right call with 2 outs.

The Cardinals bullpen in this series is worse than the Sox were all year.

not sure I understand the approach the cards have taken to a lot of Cubs hitters. First pitch fastball away to Baez is about the only thing I don't throw him. 4 straight breaking balls to a lefty who dives out over the plate? Gotta bust rizzo in at least once per AB
