October 29, 201510 yr QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Oct 28, 2015 -> 08:13 PM) I'm trying to be as optimistic as I can with him as well, but it's kind of naive to think that Coop will magically "fix" him and he'll live up to the potential that he once had. It could happen, but it's unlikely. There's no need to be optimistic about him. But there is no need to be pessimistic either. He's a guy with talent. If they can get him healthy, and work on a couple of things, he might be help. If he can't help, so what? They aren't counting on him.
October 29, 201510 yr QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 28, 2015 -> 10:17 PM) If nothing else, he has ZERO connection to the White Sox in any way, shape or form (unlike Drabek's father, having pitched for the White Sox in the low minors and then again near the end of his career). PROGRESS. This is getting ridiculous.
October 29, 201510 yr i like this move, low risk high reward move. i just hope that the sox will pickup another SP in the offseason still. they might not, considering they just added to the rotation with Turner.

I am sure they will. They are not counting on him. He hardly pitching this year.
