well the main reason why Roc will do it is b/c of Reyes arrest and spousal abuse over the weekend. second, i really don't see them taking on laroche contract, even if it is for one yr.

 

next, with the sox ownership, i highly doubt that the sox would be interested in the trade b/c of the spousal abuse..

Reyes was the worst defensive shortstop other than Marcus Semien last year. He hit as well as Jimmy Rollins, a superior defender who is a free agent and can be had for a lot less than $22 million a year. It would be crazy to trade for Reyes and won't happen.

Reyes salary and recent domestic abuse nonsense is not worth a 29 year old outfielder. That's a really bad deal for the Sox.

It is. Can you check Carlos Gonzalez's and Matt Holliday's numbers during the same time? I am guessing that Gonzalez is at around .775 for his career, while Holliday is at .825 for his career. I would prefer the Sox stay away from the aforementioned two, but Gonzalez is a guy I like, especially if they can include Avisail.

White Sox: This is a tough team to read. They have outfielders, but they're not very good. I personally think they should be committing more to a rebuild (especially with where the Royals, Indians, and Twins appear to be headed in their success cycles), but if they really decide to go for broke in 2016, they also could be a perfect dark horse candidate to do something stupid and sell their soul for Cargo. While not extremely deep, their system does have some interesting names, including the high upside arm of Carson Fulmer.
