I wish Gordon all the luck in the world, but I sure as HELL wish we could have just cut bait about 3 f***ing years ago.

Yeup, sums up my feelings perfectly.

I liked Beckham but I think we misused him. Hard for me to dislike a guy who played his hardest for us for seven years.

You said it all for me.

I always liked the guy. Tried hard. was fundamentally solid, unlike most of the rest of our team. he just didn't have the talent we hoped. nothing to be ashamed of.

His performance might have been lousy but he always played hard and I respect that. Wish you all the best with the Braves.

Man , I'm going to Wendy's and get me a Baconator !

He's definitely one that I really wanted to succeed and take his place among the all-time favorites. I had him pegged as the face of the franchise for years to come. Shame it didn't work out but it certainly wasn't for a lack of effort on either Gordon's part or the Sox.

Future Sox Coach.

I expect him to bounce back -- if the SEC clears him for one more season at Georgia.

Maybe he could play against LSU and Jared Mitchell.
