Ohhhh Okay...

I don't know if nervous is the right word, but I'm definitely anxious to see how the Sox respond to the challenge.

This series, and especially tonight's game, is the Moment Of Truth for the 2003 season.

The next 3 nights will determine how much the final week and a half will mean.

Our guys need to :bringit tonight and take back what is THEIRS!!!

GO SOX!!!! :headbang

It's all coming down to this series. The whole season, with all its frustions and all it's excitement, comes down to this. A sweep one way or the other and it's probably a done deal.

I am so ready to get this kicked off, but nervous about how it will turn out.

Ditto! I don't know if I will have any nails left by 7PM tonight!

extremely nervous -- and that under-states it.

Other than our last trip in, Twinkie Dome has been a house of horrors for Sox since the end of the 2000 season (when the Sox lost on the day they clinched the division).

very little pressure on the Twins, since they know they have 7 games left with Detroit. Plus, they won easy last night without having to use their 'A' guys in the bullpen.

And Radke has to carry a ton of confidence to the mound, knowing he shut the Sox down last time out.

If Sox don't win tonight, they have ZERO margin for error the rest of the season -- and we'll all be lamenting the games that were given away to the Tigers (eight) Rangers (four) and Devil Rays (three).

It's way more difficult than it should have been.

While I'm still hopeful and believe that this team CAN pull it off, I have to say that I really think they'll finish second. If they don't sweep this series, they'll have to be almost perfect the rest of the way, and this team has been too inconsistent to think that they could keep a hot streak for a solid week and a half.

Again, I think they CAN do it, I just really don't think they will.

...and it'll probably be one of those KC series that puts the final nail in - what a lousy set of bookends for the season. Early losses to KC to set a bad tone, and late losses to KC to seal their fate. UGH....

PLEASE, Sox, prove me wrong!!!!

How many hours til game time? Too many

I just fear what this board will look like if we are trailing 3-0 by the 3rd inning...

if the Sox are down 3-0 in the third, there will be speculation about the 2004 manager, questions about refunds for the division series and optimism that the four losses the Sox gave the Cubs will end up keeping them from the post-season.

Uh ok

My stomach is all in knots, but I think the burrito I had for lunch may have something to do with it.

Im some what nervous but all I can think is this:

The statistics point in favor of the White Sox every game, last week we lost 2, we should of only lost one.

All things being equally, in the end things usually even themselves out.

I expect the White Sox to take care of business and things will work out for them.

I have to say though, you do provide the majority of the "soap opera" type entertainment on here.

I'm thinking of heading to the mountain for a week or so. Last time I did, we rattled off 8 wins and got back into the race. I scheduled myself to be on the ranch tonight moving a cow ot two and making plans for my Scout Troop. I'll get home late and rush to the computer and either cry or cheer.

I'm too old for this s***. :drink
