Law has Tim Anderson at #45. These are some notes: Came to baseball late, already having success at AA is a testament to outsized athletic abilities. Law asks if he's an 8-9 hole hitter or top of the order bat. Plus-Plus runner, good actions at SS. Magallanes really helped him in this regard. Overly aggressive approach and poor pitch recognition. Law says that the player Anderson is now is a big leaguer that projects as bottom of order bat that hits .280 with low OBP, Above average defense at SS and a ton of stolen bases. Law says Anderson has the potential to be "so much more" if he develops any plan at the plate. Says he needs another year in the minor leagues.

Anderson may need a year, but unless Saladino lights the world on fire he has until about June.

No one is expecting Saladino to light the world on fire. We will either sign Desmond or they have to accept what Saladino has to offer until Anderson is ready.

That is a huge difference in just one year defensively. If he can keep making strides, wow.

.280 hitter....low OBP.....above average defense....tons of SB...

You are basically talking about 2014 Jose Reyes or 2005 Jimmy Rollins. Had a 3.5 and 3.9 WAR season respectively...

If Tim Anderson is a 3+ SS for us, we are going to be in pretty great shape. There were only 4 of those guys in baseball last season.

Carson Fulmer makes the "Just missed" list of ten names just outside his top 100. The write up doesn't say anything he hasn't trumpeted before, citing the reason he missed the top 100 because he has a "very violent" delivery and "works too much out of the zone" to be a big league starter.
