Please, can John Danks just pitch against the Royals this year? He gives up too many runs, and he is waaaay too predictable...not deceptive at all. I cringe every time he throws a pitch.

weeks, danks and brian anderson are all present and were all drafted within 13 spots of each other.

 

danks' career is fighting to be either 2nd or 3rd most 'over' of that group

None at all. Ideally, I think it's better if Turner and Fulmer start in the rotation.

I don't necessarily expect much from Johnson and Latos this year, but we really need Danks to be able to eat innings while minimizing damage. He needs to at least match what he's done over the past few years. We can't have the bullpen throwing four- and five-inning games twice a week.

Fulmer needs at least 10 starts in AA. No need to rush him at all. But if they deem him ready in June, and the Sox could use him, yeah, bring him up.

How was Danks' velocity? That is the big question for me. If he can get that fast ball back into the low 90's he should be effective. His change up has

become a solid pitch.
