Pretty sure they're wrong on Phillips, as he was signed to a minor league deal despite being on the 40-man roster.

 

This is a dumb question, but if Turner ends up in Charlotte after Spring Training ends, the Sox would still have to pay him the $1.5 million deal in which he agreed to, right?
