We need a long reliever.

Featured Replies

We can't have our bullpen eating up this many innings without any days off. We need a long man such as Turner, Carroll, Gonzalez, I don't care. Somebody. I think we should make room for it by sending Sands down. There really isn't a need for 5 outfielders. That's the beauty of not having a true DH, it's easy to give the position players rest.

Sending Sands down seems like a no-brainer to me. I have no idea why he was put on the 25-man roster in the first place.

I would expect to see a guy like Aumont called up tomorrow.

Who has been s***ty in AAA

Sands seems like the clear choice. Hell, get Avi out of here. He has options left. I know that will never happen, but I think a little bit of me dies every time I watch an at-bat of his.

Carroll is hurt

Sands has no options.

then we can DFA him. Having both him and Avi is redundant.

With Shuck having been sent down.

Danks to long relief and Johnson / Gonzalez to move into the rotation would be my call.

Unfortunately, we're more likely to see Aumont or Ynoa.
