Yeti Coolers

Featured Replies

I was just about to pull the trigger on a Yeti cooler and stopped. I'm wondering if I really want an ice chest that I have to worry about getting stolen. My daughter has one and yes, it seems great, but mine will be sitting out at campsites and sitting covered in the back of my truck.

Worth it? I just would be so pissed if I had my $400 cooler stolen along with all the provisions.

If I ever spend $400 on a f***ing cooler just come put me out of my misery given I'd clearly have lost my mind.

This is just my opinion, but I looked at the Yeti's and the cost+the fact people steal them made me buy a MUCH cheaper MaxCold and its been fine if not great. Holds ice for several days, has wheels, good size.

Edit: Upon checking I have a MaxCold and an extreme 5. Both are pretty great and under 100 bucks. Both hold ice for several days in hot weather.

The Extreme 5 or 6 is what I am looking at.

A guy I work with was best man in a wedding this past weekend. Justin Gage is the groom's brother-in-law. Justin bought all the guys Yeti coolers for a groomsmen gift.

They are indeed awesome. I think I'd rather just splurge on a coozy. In the future, they will be great for camping if they ever cut down their price or become so popular they are stolen less.

The actual cooler or Coozys? The tumblers are nice too.

This.

I also don't understand why so many people have the Yeti stickers on their cars. But I am in the deep south, so they usually have Duck Commander and Trump stickers too.

I can't explain why after spending $400 you would also want to advertise. I see the coolers chained to trucks.

Coolers, he said he looked it up and it sells for about $400.

For the longest time, I thought those stickers were for the Yeti Imperial Stout from Great Divide.

I thought they were for avid mountain hikers like the dolts that feel the need to put 26.2 on thier car

Hey, my daughter is putting a 50 and a 24 hour on her Jeep to mark the 50 mile and 24 hour races she has run.

But actually, what bumper stick isn't lame? Your favorite sports team? College? Vacation spot? CB Handle?

Seriously? I am having a hard time not making a smart ass comment about someone running A HALF OF A MARATHON and boasting about it with a bumper sticker.

Think of it as more than twice a 10k meter. ;)

Not sure which sticker you are referring to, but this is the bumper sticker for Great Divide's Yeti. They are very common in CO.

Is the one for Yeti Coolers just the one the spells out "YETI"?

Coolersforsale.com has a pretty great site comparing these higher priced coolers. Surprisingly Yeti's didnt do that well when they did an actual ice challenge.

Yeti coolers are completely overrated and overpriced. Who the heck wants to lug around a thousand pound cooler with no wheels? They seriously do not keep ice longer than some middle of the road coolers.

Because, grizzlies

Coolers are for chumps. Bring a generator and a freezer or go home.

Speaking of things that always seem overpriced, generators are ridiculous
