I think the problem with Rodon is that his delivery isn't repeatable; it seems as if his follow through is slightly different after every pitch, which then leads to control issues.
I think that is a very good observation. So fix him already Coop.

Huge out!

Rodon was pretty much feeling the heat from the fire that inning. He'll get burned pitching like this.

He's 23 with less than 200 ML innings. You see Cooper come out, 1st pitch he gets a weak ground ball out to get out of the inning.

Sorry, but he's still super raw.

No argument. He is a super talented pitcher basically learning at the major league level

tough play.

What the hell was Jackson doing?

Easy tiger. That was a tough play.

3-0 swing and foul pop to catcher. Just such a non-factor

Not sure how you pop up on a 95 MPH fastball on a 3-0 count

*Turns Sox on*

Abreu goes F2 on a 3-0 count

*Shuts TV off*

He went back too early, he should have been on 2B pretty easily.

Jose 0-6 in the series.

I mean it was nice when he slapped a few hits to right field in a couple games...

But he is still broke... no power right now.

With a 4-0 lead? Rough crowd.

Throw the slider ahead in the count!

The Royals continue to amaze me. These scrubs come in & somehow play great, especially against the Sox.

Stupid pitch selection once again. It's obvious Rodon has a bad fastball today.

Why can't Sox have a guy come up from minors and play like this Merrifield dude.

You probably would said the same thing to me yesterday if I wrote that when they were up the same amount of runs in a later inning.

Anyways, my point is this team won't win more than 85 games if Abreu continues to look so confused at the plate.

Clueless on the slider and throws the fastball. Pitch selection is a joke

They have an actual front office with actual scouts?

*shrug*

1-2 fastball down the middle

They got the run all day on Avila scouting report.
