  2. I just got a new dell computer with a dvd burner on it. I want to start burning some dvds but I realy dont know the difference between dvd -r or dvd +r. From what I understand dvd +rs will work on more standard dvd players.. is this true?
  3. Cold at night early in the year???
  4. Hooters has the best wings. They could be served by fat men in spedos and i would still go for the wings, but slightly less often.
  5. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 03:34 PM) Everything thus far has pointed towards Anderson starting with Mackowiak getting at least one start a week in the outfield. If there are others more energetic than I today and feel like finding some of Kenny's quotes, I'm sure that would answer this question a little better for you. But, if you want to take me on good faith, Anderson is the starter and Mackowiak looks to be the primary backup for all three outfield positions. However, I'm still not finding the connection between the acquisiton of Cintron and a starting CF role for Rob Mackowiak. Well yeah I do agree that everything so far has pointed towrds its being andersons job to lose. But Cintron means that Mack is freed up to play more outfield. Cintron and Ozuna have the infield coverd. I just figure why not start mack if he is going to be the better player out of the gates. But i still have no idea how well he plays centerfield.
  6. How good of a centerfield does Mackowiak play? I was thinking that perhaps we got Cintron so that mack can play everyday in the outfield(mack will no longer be needed as an infield backup) He has proven he can play, is the starting job really Andersons?
  7. I drive a 95' civic lx it has around 150,000 miles on it and i've had no problems with it at all. Hondas just go for ever. I work at a used car dealer and we have sold many a civics with 150,000-200,000+ miles that run and drive great still. The only thing i hate is its a little slow for me. I do a lot of expressway driving and its not the greatest at accelerating quickly. I went from a Cherokee with the nice 4.0L inline 6 to my civic so of course i noticed a difference in getting up to speed. though i think the new civic has a slightly bigger engine then what mine has (1.6L now a 1.8L) Great choice though, you can drive that car for another 10-20 years with minimal problems if you wanted to.
  8. My best friend dated some girl for about 3 weeks when he accidently said "goodnight love ya babe" via text message. Her response was "wait what you love me" he isnt the most experianced and quickest thinking of guys and instead of explaining he was just being cute he panicked and said something like uhh uhhh maybe yeah i dunno i think so. Well this started a chain reaction of awkard get togethers and conversations ending in her breaking up with him a few days later via MYSPACE. and its not like they are 14 or 15 they are both 19 years old. He still gets some hell about this from his buddys but diservingly so. oh and we make fun of her all the time for using myspace as a break up tool. thats just so lame.
  9. ok so its silly, but me and my buddy were sure disapointed when fuddruckers no longer had the chicken fingers platter, we had to order the appatizer and it just wasnt the same. HELP SAVE ThE CHICKEN FINGERS PLATTER

  11. sure lou knows his stuff and calling jose's fork ball "snr. tumbelina" mad me crack up but there is just something about his voice that i find very anoying.
  12. I'm not sure how it came up but me and my dad were trying to think if anyone has every had more rbi then hits in a season with a large amount of at bats... say 400 or more. The closest I could find so far was in 1999 Manny Ramirez came within 9 with 174 hits and 165 rbi. just wondering if anyone could think of anyone who actually accomplished this or came close.
  13. Do yourself a favor and don't go see Brothers Grimm. I didnt know what to expect because the previews didnt show much, but it is really a kids movie, and not a very good one at that.
  14. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee and just swaped it for a Honda Civic. I get twice the gas mileage. I'm guessing Alot of people will be making a smilar switch eventually, or at least getting a 4 cylinder suv if they need the space.
  15. QUOTE(3E8 @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 10:19 AM) I don't get it. The rabbit is in a different room. How did it know to jump? pure coincidence? or some other ultra animal sense? That’s up to you to decide. Yes i think some dogs have been almost proven to be able to sniff out certin sickness much like they would a bomb. and you hear about cats and dogs waking up owners when there are fires and such. But rabits arnt the most intelegent of animals so i'm leaning to coincidence but a damn good one.
  16. If you are betting on baseball and throwing the game or trying to lose to make money, then betting is worse then roids. Roids are worse then betting on your team to win... unless your the manager and do everything possible to win like blow out your bullpen to win and your team loses the next couple games because of it. I guess the real question is: What has changed more outcomes of games? betting or steroids? Figure that one out and thats what is worse. So i'm leaning towrds steroids, i hope.
  17. Hmmm would anyone else rather have Sele in the pen instead of adkins for longer relief?
  18. QUOTE(Da Sox @ Jul 31, 2005 -> 08:16 PM) Willie Harris STINKS! I agree
  19. A bunch of my friends went for free, they just got peoples ristbands that couldnt take the heat and left early.
  20. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 19, 2005 -> 03:11 PM) .........and we see how well that went over. Yeah they gave them out and not many people even waved them around at all if i remember correctly. I myself had mine and my buddys on my arms because i made the mistake of wearing short sleeves near the very top of the uperdeck.
  21. They gave out those rally socks on opening day
