San Diedo/KC trade

Featured Replies

Like the trade for the Padres more for sure. May will be much better in the NL and will be a good 4th / 5th starter for them, and insurance in case David Wells leaves. Bukvich is a young power arm to add to their bullpen, Trevor Hoffman will be able to teach him a few things.

Wasn't Tankersely one of San Diego's top prospects though?

Tankersly = Cotts.

Decent trade for the Padres. Gives them insurance once Wells leaves, and May is a pretty good starter with good stuff.

How depressing must it be to wake up and find out you were traded to the Royals.

Tankersly = Cotts.

Now is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Remember how Cheat used to defend Cotts by comparing his ERA and BB rate to other rookies in the AL?

I think that's good for the Royals.

Dennis Tankersley was w/ the Pads and Taylor Tankersley is a 04 #1 for the Marlins in case that's who you were thinking of.
