One we can't have nice things because rosters are too darn small. Two Moncada is more valuable than Burger and Burger does not really have a position. Burger gets edged out barring injury.

2/25 Game Thread - Padres @ White Sox, 2:05 PM CT, NBC Chicago
They need oh-fence so your prediction has merit. They could employ Sheets as DH/1B against tough RHP. Hoping to see more of Colas too. Today's game will replay at 7: 05 pm on MLBN.

Somebody asked Don Sutton (or Freddie Garcia) why he took so much time between pitches. Answer: Waiting for the pain to go away so I can throw the next pitch.

Andrus to the Sox, expected to play 2B, 1 yr, $3 mil
It's OK to like a guy who played well for the Sox. We just aren't used to it. Texas gave him an 8/$120 deal ten years ago. Nice job Rick. I would worry more about our SPs collapsing.

Leury and Romy seem redundant. They need Sheets' bat so if Romy stays Leury might depart.

There was an MLB story last week claimed Dylan Cease slider was the most effective pitch in the league. Not sure if it got mentioned.

My fandom will consist of pulling for Oscar and Elvis to excel. If they do it will be a good season.

Sox could actually field a team of quality players at every position barring injury. They are hurting for SP depth still.

Leury not on OD Roster per DVS
If Garcia is blocking someone more valuable yes he could be released. Maybe not right away.
-
Is Romy the second baseman?
If Garcia is blocking guys like Romy who they want to see more of he could hit the transaction wire.
