I like this because it gives you a chance to look at another body for a month here on possible 2022 replacements for Leury (Free Agent), Mendick (sucks), and even Cesar Hernandez who's been a bit of a disappointment with the bat.
No kidding. People always looking for an axe to grind.
The ship sailed on Kopech being a starting pitcher this season the minute he hurt the hamstring.
Every time it feels like we're getting there at full strength, something pops.
Rodon - I don't think he's 100%
TA - God knows what the hell is going on there.
Lynn - Knee?
Lucas - Leg
WTF ?
I wish Lucas Fastball command was so much better.
He'd easily be my Game 1 starter if he'd know where the hell he's throwing the fastball.
High pitch count game once again by our starter.
I think that's what's turned the season around for him. Felt like way over reliant on the changeup to start the year. Now the slider has become a wipe out pitch.
Still need to see much better command from his fastball, I feel that will be key when facing those slugging lineups in the playoffs.
I think many like myself who bitched about Grandal early in the season are finally pleased to see that pop come out of that bat. And he was doing this just before the inury.
Walks are fine, but this added punch in the middle of the order is what we all wanted to see for $18+ million per season.
