Yes, some of those pitches were not strikes, but especially with two strikes you can't be looking for an ump to save you. If it's close enough to be called a strike, even incorrectly, it's close enough to take a swing at. Stand up there with the tying run on base and you take 6 pitches and never swing once? Bulls***.
