  1. Kyle Orton is going to hit every club and f*** every skank in Atlanta tonight.
  2. Clint Malarchuk's head and neck under attack again: http://canadianpress.google.com/article/AL...a5LMRkEa-YEnQUw
  3. For the second night in a row, the Hawks have looked BAD in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Khabibulin was pretty good tonight. He was not the reason they lost. Campbell looked pretty good again tonight. Toews was not very good tonight. They need to put Sharp back on a wing. I'd be okay with Kane trying center, he's getting shoved around along the boards regularly. All in all, a s***ty start to the season.
  4. The Hawks are scrambling and kind of panicking now. Too many men on the ice penalty - the Craps go to the power play.
  5. HORRIBLE attempt at a shift change leads to a Washington goal. Kevyn Adams had two attempts to clear the puck down from the bench area and couldn't. 2-1 Hawks.
  6. Fantastic save by Theodore on Sharp. (Yeah, I'm talking to myself right now, I don't care.... )
  7. The picture on WGN looks quite beautiful, by the way. Bright and clear HD broadcast, much better than Comcast SportsNet for sure.
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 11, 2008 -> 09:30 AM) There's no way Huet doesn't start against his former team. You were saying? I'm sure we'll hear the "back-to-back nights" and the "keeping both guys fresh" reasons, but I think Savard just didn't like the softies and wanted to change goalies.
  9. I can honestly say that I am with the perfect person for me. She balances my personality, she is strong in my weaker areas, and she is a terrific mother. She enjoys my sense of humor and doesn't mind our differences in taste as far as entertainment is concerned. She's a wonderful person, and I'm extremely lucky to have her in my life.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 11, 2008 -> 09:30 AM) There's no way Huet doesn't start against his former team. I'd think that was true, too, but Savard didn't commit to Huet starting tonight, and as we know, his decisions are not ALWAYS based on logic and reason.
  11. Huet looked bad on two of the Rangers' goals, but almost everyone looked bad last night. To me, Campbell looked good, Kane had some moments and everyone else looked pretty bad. With the exception of one shift, there was no offensive flow whatsoever. I hope it was opening night jitters, but I expect to see Khabibulin in goal tonight.
  12. QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 10, 2008 -> 05:19 PM) It's not like the Cup doesn't have a base on it or anything... And f***ing upside-down writing all over it!!!
  13. They're as bad at trophy placement as they are at songwriting.

  15. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Oct 10, 2008 -> 11:42 AM) I can't wait, I'm so pumped. Thank God for Center Ice. Thank God for Rocky Wirtz!!! I actually told my wife I wanted Dollar Bill to come back to life for one day to see how wrong, stupid, ass-backwards and archaic his retarded "protect the season reservationists" thinking was....and then he could die again the next day....
  16. QUOTE (mreye @ Oct 10, 2008 -> 11:39 AM) And what exactly are Conservatives "all about?" They're all about the 40-somethin' Alaskan pussy, my man.....
  17. QUOTE (YASNY @ Oct 10, 2008 -> 11:21 AM) Meanwhile, back at the Cell ... Kid Gleason is banging on the gates yelling "I LEFT MY OBSCURE IMPORTED MICROBREW FROM URUGUAY IN THERE!!!!!" while FlaSoxxJim laughs at him, holding said Uruguayan microbrew behind his back.
  18. Can't get no one pregnant with a puff of dust....
  19. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 10, 2008 -> 11:13 AM) Anyway my whole point in saying this is that I had no choice but to watch Fox because it was blaring into my left ear for almost a year, and I spent quite a bit of time admiring Laurie Dhue because she is possibly one of the hottest news anchors on TV. Well, was, she doesn't work for Fox anymore. She must not be hot enough to work for them any more - probably got some wrinkles and s*** - they obviously don't like wrinkles.
  20. HAHA, see??? There were only 14,000 people at Comiskey!!! Wrigley woulda been FULL UP!!!!!
  21. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Oct 9, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) The Leafs look alright. They're young and they skate pretty well and they're quick. Besides getting beat by Holmstrom, Schenn looks like a good player and will be a great one some day. The Wangs look old and slow. The Leafs pressured the Wings really well, which is what I think a lot of teams with big young guys are going to do to them. I do think the Wings will adjust and make their passes a little more quickly to beat the pressure. They just didn't do that very well at all last night. There's something about those long pre-game ceremonies that seems to affect the home team, too - maybe wanting to do too much right out of the gate to impress the crowd, or something. I wouldn't write the Wings off as a result of last night's game, but the way the Leafs played them should (and will) be noted by other teams.
  22. QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 9, 2008 -> 05:13 PM) They're all the same. Bleached blonde, fake boobed, Brazilian-waxed morons. Correctamundo!!! My advice to Hef is to just buy another dumbass cookie-cutter bim with Daddy issues.
