Considering that was something like 40% of his strikeouts last year, not hard to see how his K rate has dropped significantly. I feel that there has always been too much hand wringing about his K's because on it's face seems like an easy fix to get to a normal K level.

It's almost a year to the day of Craig Edwards writing Yoan Moncada's Approach is Actually Working. Fingers crossed he's actually on to something this time.

If that's true then ya, I'm out

This is what rebuilds are for, taking a shot on guys like this. Castillo does nothing for me, at least McCann seems to work well with Rodon and Gio

124. Which is fine, ramp him up to 150 this year and go from there.

Believe me, I don't want the FO to approach next year as another tank year, but it's funny how after a win they're going to win 88 games next year and after a loss they won't win 60 this year.

There's no reason cease shouldn't get to 150 if he's healthy this year. I don't think fatigue is going to be a huge concern

Yeah unless he has severe control issues like Kopech, he’ll be up before July. Id like to see him get a hundred or so innings in the bigs. Keep going with this 5 inning starts for ten turns and call him up

I’m like 99% Stonie partakes

Hearing the fireworks two batters ahead kinda sucks

Moncada is hosed if Maldonado catches that lol

Even more so the 2-0

How are you not sitting on that fastball yolmer

They’re gonna call him out

So what would happens should they rule Gordon trapped that after a challenge? I know he didn’t, but I’m curious

Glass house n all

All in all not a horrible start

Sailing every other pitch is next level ‘changing the eye level’

Are people really acting like Theo isn’t one of the best if not the best executive in baseball?

Eloy looks weird with high socks

Nice play but why the hell is Garcia playing that deep against billy frickin hamilton

Someone thought this guy was a better idea than an opener + 3-4 innings of whoever the hell

I think Ervin is already my least favorite rebuild player.

Imagine going up there with an 88 mph heater and throwing nothing but that
