  1. Brett Gardner’s face pisses me off
  2. He’s such a genuine goofball. It’s awesome
  3. It’s funny how small samples work. A whole lotta meh, then 1 good game and he’s sitting at 130 wRC+. I’m here for it though. Now excuse me as I go watch the homers ten times
  4. People were rough on Leary but I think he’s probably a more useful guy than Yolmer even if yolmer wasn’t floundering like he is.
  5. It’s amazing how much I feel the need to check At Bat when listening to the radio

And people aren't and shouldn't think that is acceptable
  7. After multiple division championships, winning seasons and a world series. Kenny the GM wasn't great by any means, but to act like he was THE problem (Or now getting in the way of the great Rick Hahn) is ridiculous.
  8. FWIW The Padres made the same mistake the Sox did letting the guy who botched the last build do it again. They lucked out.
  9. This post reminded me of the greatest tweet of all time https://mobile.twitter.com/dril/status/247222360309121024?lang=en
  10. Of course not. Guys the biggest coward in sports.
  11. You saw the valuation and profitability numbers right? They'll be fine. That's the problem.
  12. I don't want to jinx anything but Palka is 20 at-bats from catching Chris Davis should that guy ever get a hit again.
  13. Seriously, is there anyone that is even above D level at their job? Roger Bossard?
  14. This org is rotten at every single level. Good luck to the players who need to make themselves attractive enough to find life after White Sox
  15. They had at least (because let's not be naive and assume they aren't under reporting revenue) 76 million dollars to spend. Spending would have driven revenue up significantly.
  16. Bright side, ya ain't making that profit being bad for a decade in Portland. God I can't wait for Reinsdorf to go away

I wonder if Mitch Haniger could be pried from Seattle once their season eventually implodes
  18. mqr replied to reiks12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
That'd be a lineup that could win some games, which would be nice. But seems like a reach.
  19. I agree with the bulk of this analysis, but unless he can consistently hit .310-.320, a .350 OBP is probably a pipe dream
  20. mqr replied to wrathofhahn's topic in The Diamond Club
    Holy hell, he's broke
  21. Probably Aaron Bummer. Yay Maybe Colton Turner, I guess?
  22. That happened, whether or not it has anything to do with his performance is speculation.
  23. I bumped it to 3/5s because best case scenario is some combo Giolito/Rodon/Cease/Lopez looking serviceable
