Remember last year going from "Wow baseball! we've been through so much!" to "ah fuck here we go again" in about 45 seconds when Gio gave up two bombs in two pitches?
I just did, and it's making me chuckle
I don't think anyone is concerned with the lineup for this particular game. It's just an odd choice, and would be pretty silly to have Vaughn up and not regularly playing.
I'm pretty much completely over the superhero thing, but I wasn't going to miss out on seeing why Zack Snyder felt that a superhero movie needed to be an hour longer than 2001 A Space Odyssey
Honestly my boldest prediction is that Andrew Vaughn turns out to be a schwarberesque outfielder and the Sox never have the temptation to give Eloy a glove again
Just curious, anyone who has had to get a test done recently, have they been asking if you have already been vaccinated? Seems like valuable, important data to be collecting.
Moncada bouncing back (it looks like he is going to), and Robert taking a step forward (idk maybe, maybe not) would probably more than make up for the Eloy sized hole in the lineup year over year.
I think the lineup from the other day is a pretty safe bet.
I think it was
Anderson
robert
Abreu
Moncada
Eloy
Grandal
Eaton
Vaughn
Madrigal
I'd probably flip Robert and Grandal for now though
